This weekend the 10U Warriors played 2 games. The first game was against the Georgetown Titians who hosted us at Fort Dupont Ice Arena on Friday November 17th. The Warriors took the ice and and quickly put one up on the scoreboard on a goal by Mateo Concha with an assist from James Johns IV. Georgetown was able to put a shot past Yoan Pinsonneault to tie the game. Ben Hearn on a last minute rush scored to put the Warriors up 2-1 at the ends of the first.

The second period started with James Johns IV sliding a puck past the Titians net minder. Ben Hearn put his second goal of the night in shortly after the 11 minute mark. The Titians put a rush on and a flurry of shots to 4 goals in before Gavin Masaya put a blast in past the Titians goalie. In the final minute of the 2nd period the Titians were able to cap off a 5 goal period to go into the third period leading 6-5.

Due to an issue with time, the third period was cut short and was only a 10 minute period. Yoan Pinsonneault sealed up the goal and stopped every shot in the shortened period. The top line went to work out skating the Titians and with 1:27 left in the game Mateo Concha tied the game up on a wicked shot. The game would end in a 6-6 tie.
