This morning the Wells Warriors 12U team took a trip up 270 to Skate Frederick to play the Frederick Victory Red Team. This was the first game in goal for rookie net minder Sam Stewart-Ricketts. Sam faced and defended the net from several shots but got beat on a few. While the rest of the Warriors 12U team ran into a brick wall at the other end of the ice. No matter what the Warriors threw at him he had an answer for them.

Even though the first game of the season was a loss, the 12U Warriors played very well and will only get better as the season goes on.
